The Pool Room

The Pool Room is a branding concept designed for the 2014 University of Canberra Graduating Students Graphic Design Exhibition.

Taken from the 1997 Australian movie, “The Castle”, The Pool Room is for only the best achievements and creations to be displayed and admired.

The 3rd Year University of Canberra Graphic Design students are exhibiting only the best achievements and creations in their graduating Exhibition, to showcase their skills and designs to friends, family and industry contacts.

“The Pool Room” is simple and differentiated from the traditional design based names often used for graphic design exhibitions.

With the reference to the comical movie, there is a sense of humour to the name, yet through the brand image, the students would still present themselves professionally.
